somewhere all of the dream is true
there is no waking
world
the difference would
be sense
things happening for
reasons
I’m in the cockpit
asking the pilot
where we are
‘Canada, somewhere,’
she says
we’re flying low –
trees, buildings
and the three from
the Blue Mountains
a beard between them
and strangers too
there are such place
in the vast
I am a phenomenon
all of us are
some more than
others
it’s true
you’ll need to feel
it
to feel better
we are near the top
now
the helicopters come
one with our flag
and one with the
other
but we would rather
stay
the vast is in such
places
we’ve come to that
part of the year again
where we can’t
remember what happens
in that part of the year
but deeper and
deeper down
further in the
moment
there are last
glimpses of a work
that has to be
destroyed
somewhere, in every
particular,
somewhere the dream
is true
it’s far in the
house where we hide
