#727 - I like to go for a wander

I like to go for a wander

make it a mystery trip!

no one knows where I go

least of all not …

anywhere, I guess

don’t you?

sometimes just in my head

come along…

let’s

often find the trouble of names

is not where I need to be

I like to go off

let the messages come

just follow a whim

in the picture out

on foot

or give me wheels

I do it on the page

do it in the screen too

I vast the canvas out for travels

roll out up and at ‘em!

here come the Furies

from the box

give chase

make haste

I cut and paste

sometimes go out like a light

many come after

few find me home

call it figuring

make an observation

(often inextensive)

and anytime

take head take heart

I like to lose the clock there

take it for a swim

distance does it

like to go there

and hang my hat upon horizon

stand back for the view

often one branch to another

wouldn’t wish to predict

but take a twig along in case

and sometimes have the words along

sometimes go without

I like the idea of a line thrown loose

it’s anyway you go

there’s always another language

nothing more precious than fight for the right

that nobody understands

I like to go where nobody knows

off for a wander

just guess!

say peekaboo!

I make a dotted line

later call a map

where will you find me?

I couldn’t, won’t, tell

with random abandon is how

lightning strikes me everywhere

just the way of things, I suppose

like nobody’s business, I go
