from first up

light in patches

 

far reaching in the leaves

 

here there by the book

a wending with

 

bodies of heaven cast

could say eye over

anyway bright

so sometimes shielding

 

we must have sleep walked into this

 

now dance!

 

you might say oh it’s an everyday occurrence

quite the norm to see to be

 

but just this once

just here

 

to sing

 

this page like a road rolled out before me

 

no angry words

but touch to love

and listen

 

how will you advise?

 

we did it without machinery roar

no weapons were entailed

 

and friends – this is just where we happen to be

 

there’s still time to save everything left

 

whole world’s our day

and further

 

we each as equal creaturing

 

it’s taken a lifetime till

 

every spin of the globe thus far

 

we wrap the head

how long it lasts

 

snout to which

here come

so make these many marks
