#122 - dear hearts

2.5.20
122
dear hearts

to heart
shy, hiding

some make fanfare
some make strife

gone spare
and tinker too
young to the idea

with just a little leap
mine yours

hotwire
who will know this language?

if by the book
hearts all forbidden, locked
lost to a paradise

the manual heart
will hillstart

shapes surprising
curious colours

cravings the tum cannot own

hearts are chasm to catch in bed
this billowing conversation
breath beside the body bags

grudge, are hive
hop, skip, hope

all limited to time

an ache in it
or skip the beat

syncopantic sycophant
it’s reckless to a rhyme
makes things up merely

letters all begin with ‘dear’
all are limited to time

have you seen seas part
rivers cross
?

come to a stillness
no one yet knows

in one life are many parts
here’s the healing one

an old technology for feeling

midmost in
not one’s mind

breath of lost dreaming deeps

ventricle, auricle
sewn up
here’s a workaround

whole, no that cannot be

it’s long since decided

gather round friends
backs to the fire

lend an epic ear
no need to motivate the plot
it comes in any order

some say theirs is not in it
others claim just half

past the use-by hammering out
this terrible tattoo

ache in it or caper

true words are from here
beer sincere

do gods, angels
have these?

ill wind with my sliver
a mine of gold
and arrow quick

is it a fixed idea flags wrap?

one bled, crowned in thorns
guns of a salute all sing

have one, won’t you?

patter feet and earth patch
these are as well the heart

hold it up still beating
bring down this little sky in tears

when only the heart is at home
