else there’s violence and vengeance

will you choose fear?

 

our hero’s just a god now

so there are heavens above

very air

upward of

 

every deity’s a risk

 

what will we worship then?

 

a lamp of fruit?

light’s wings?

 

there is the tree herself

 

it’s all around – that’s what

 

just the way things are

 

some say stray truth

 

truth gets away

 

we’re always left with this question
