watch world and birds whizz by

 

know time

and stand for the applause

 

to sniff, touch, tell

all appetite

so driven

 

crowd in my midst

and taxes

 

sometimes you’ll think

of hutch and burrow

 

not a care

but have to dig

must climb

 

with a heal up sun so sudden

 

grim joy

 

just here where there’s a chance to breathe

dizzy standing still
