advice to a bear we all know

 

how precious peace is

and it’s not hard

just greet the morning with a smile

and good day to whom e’er you meet

 

it’s nice

to not invade your neighbours

to live and to let live

 

to respect their sovereign borders

 

not to bomb their public buildings

their infrastructure, apartment blocks

 

it’s good not to freeze your neighbours to death

not to murder them in their beds

 

how great it is

not to sweep the next door people off the map

 

gives you time for industry

or grow a bumper crop

 

nice to spend an afternoon

with no shelling to disturb your nap

 

why not blow a kiss instead?

 

when your own backyard’s so enormous

it really shouldn’t be so hard

 

it’s good not to steal their children

not to send your own to doom

 

think of the time you’ll have to kill

think of the money you’ll save

 

stay at home

avoid the trouble

try it

you’ll feel better about yourself
