he raises from the dead

just for a chat

or prove a point

does fun things with fire

makes water holy too

 

talks the girls into convents

that pisses the parents off

the boyfriends

 

talks Oisin out of the world

 

he elevates the slaves

 

confesses non-stop

talks so long

the stick he leans on

grows roots, sprouts leaves –

it’s a tree

 

he was a glass half full man

and how they’ve gone on
