#1050 - who'll remember today's clouds?

who will remember today’s clouds?

for a field guide to Australian clouds

once numinous

such nothing flew

everything fatal

sky holds fallow yet

each a thought for illustration

and often en masse

stars no more eternal

reach up

they are high in the head

sometimes mistaken for smoke

smell of each just as come

words must be enough of a way

waltz and once

a tango too

canonic when thunder

make snow to show

each unique

I believe they have slept this far

no misted limb

could ever catch

a moon sets

dream on

every moment further where

we’ve never been before

who’ll remember

how we saw them together?

chords of light

obsessing blue
