#519 - where did we come from?

4.vi.21

519

2.152

where did we come from?

a welcome to ourselves

mummies and daddies

and then a much earlier big bang

this is backwards after all

billions and billions

of what to call time

lewd looks and old ways

        wicked as

came from inside out as well

and the downside’s up

come from the old pyjamas

stash at the back of the cave

tribe skies

and the healing over

cyanobacteria

(what’s before breath?)

and someone held theirs in a cupboard once

so as to not be caught

missed knives, dodged bullets

rolled under the wire

we’ve come fresh from the wash

from the emptying out of drawers

from the burning of certain books

harbingers, forerunners, prepare ye

some say soaring and tawdry majestic

by bunsen, under flask, so steam

let winter woolly in these socks

some say from such

mostly things suggestive

the little worlds are each inside of

kind of a bubble

and numinous

the vast and swerve

in the last shower come down

round and round firstnesses

come out of the cliché of sunshine and song

green

woolly

with the eyes of sleep

close flesh

and gift outright

we are from the unconditional

from aeon

out of lapsed religion

universal thing

the cat

and the camel

the ox

take it easy

old gods

and this the inkling

from dust

and climb to the top of the tree

a rise of heavens over

and once more

tickle you under there
