#376 - talkback (deathline) or our problem with forever

talkback (deathline)

or

our problem with forever

perhaps it’s that your time has come?

why be shy with it!

there are too many of us

this has been true until

you can decide

(think of it as a human right)

you have many ways to make a good end

ask yourself

‘why should I go on?’

ask yourself (and maybe daily)

‘how am I more than the ant

I crush unthinking underfoot?’

why less deserving such a fate?

because I have the word?

because I have thought as far

sure and certain knowledge?

know ant is will of nest to be

piffle your deity scruples

that’s all tribe business

at trance end

identified remains are dental

if no meaning but … indigestion

so many deaths to carry on with

you cannot turn the page on life

however decide

those others who love

will come in time to understand

everyone tires of the truth

we were here before and will be

a name to trick eternity

breath better than not

but why?

swallow the loss

why fight the dark

lack colours for

you called this line for hope

and that is what we offer here

when of the world as earthly as

up soil and dance again

or ash if you will

so settle again

of course it’s not you

everything’s been thrown at this

pills hidden

was all the world adjusted to

and came round in a clock

consider the best sleep

is forever

join the all-unknown

and no need to worry

there no one else either

not in the blessed isles

not at the yellow springs

scribble initials into the pond

nothing is anyway coming

build as much life beyond if you like

it’s well to ask for whom however

where is time from?

and how does it go?

but when there’s no more music in me

have a vanish, won’t we?

topping!

who wants to be a Struldbrugg in Luggnagg?

imagine a god imagines me

give us charitable status

for reason

love, be loved

neither to talk you in nor out

so simply to show in the vast of things

how brief the loss will be
