#301 - genitive case

20.x.20

301

genitive case

(synecdoche study)

I, of course, dummy

of the shopfront glass

twists and turns

belong to the way

but we are far past

take the fits of a snark

and all we carry on the voyage

cargo of monkey bananas

white sails tell the sea

belongings!

consider parts for the body

the city belongs

in this timber mist and stone

a long snore chimneys do

to the people!

and here are the hands of putting together

nine tenths though money in the bank

once were everywhere species

birds of a rooftop

wheat to the loaf

column figures on a laptop screen

the country belongs to

its rug out from under

bean for this milk cow

(say enchanted)

a thundering applause

and bow

my wilderness is yours

all rise

each creatures casts

in its extent

bird to the window

song, trill and lift

chattels of an inventory

land possessed

this world to its skin

a sunroof

planet to a revolution

a vision

let’s say heavenly

and music of the spheres

I am remembered in words

come cosmos, come to our senses

catch all alive

the bottle, its genius

won’t stuff it back

just this next dance is mine
