#96 - the invisible ones

5.4.20

the invisible ones

do you remember that moment?
and ask who put them up to it

the invisible ones
have taken the toilet paper
it must be to wipe their invisible bums

all operate on commandment
(that’s an automated thing)

show me the pics
where’s evidence?

foreign, in a bus and gone
they’ve taken the beach, now the sand, now the sea

it’s all an artist’s impression

microbes
and less than worms
(though that was once a diet)

do you know their names?
thought not
none do

they have purloined all my plenty
just the land left
look the still world over

invisible ones
have called us to worship

they hide in a circle of chords

come feel the blows
say sticks and stones
some will tear the wings from angels

yay though
you will see through their absence like air

absolute others
are face to face
all paws towards
and supplicate
or something else

Easter is coming
we must be the bunnies

once it was enough to be in out of books
picture yourself in there
what’s missing?

nvisible ones were all before
diaphanous as fuck

thieves of merely where we are
for whom we all are punished

who ever saw laughter?

they shun and flaunt
bleach themselves and gone

invisible ones won’t tell of this town
their odour’s otherworldly

honestly, this really happened
they’ll be alright, Jack

getting back together with vengeance again

they take us all for granted
by prayer
or animus
over time
edge out

a child asks who is my enemy (?)
that was my father then

make a religion of the invisible
they are taking my breath away

I set up a sunshine trap for them

give truth a little rub and shine
it sets the jinnee free
