mi faras ĝin ĉiutage

levi frazon el polvo

 

mi rigardas por akcidentoj

mi devas ripari

 

mi kolektas koton por konstrui

kaj faru mil tranĉojn

 

vi pensas, ke mi estas sentima

harpi la bovinon

 

mi tre timas

ankaŭ mi konstruaĵas kaj faligas

 

ofte mi vekiĝas kun ĉi tio afero

ankaŭ neniu vidas ĉi tion

 

estas kvazaŭ la sonĝo daŭris

mi ne povas atendi

 

sed ĵetu min al la leonoj

mi ne povas haltigi la maŝinon

 

mi faras ĉi tion sovaĝa kariero

delikatajn korojn kunporti

I do it every day

raise phrase from dust

 

I watch for accidents

I must mend

 

I gather mud to build

and make a thousand cuts

 

you think I’m fearless

to harp the cow

 

I’m very much afraid

I edifice and topple too

 

often I am woken with it

there’s no one sees this either

 

it’s as if the dream went on

I cannot wait

 

but throw myself to the lions

I can’t stop the machine
