a
pond sits
Daikakuji
where mountains gather
pours mist
it has its flocks
shade the songs describe
tricks an island out
perch here
for ripple tickle
turn of the leaf
of the line
here comes a season of colours
timber and stone one
these shadows and this cast of sun –
a series of reversals
there’s a bridge to the broken tree
still holds up
a rope around
long funeral
a tree may fall to be a bridge
a pond sits
take the hint
you can reflect
on such a little sky shows blue
this must be our moment now
