now seas rise

 

was the driest April

it’s the wettest May

 

and it’s falling

all dizzy with just up

 

look!

 

see  how we’ve been deprived of sky

 

moon for a pondfull

clear come late

 

moon, how’d you get so full?

pond too!

 

and what’s that

not wind

not road

?

 

just like a creek to be running away

 

the fires are coming still

 

there’s yet a storm to swim
